Kabel Rumah Dan Kabel Instalasi

Penggunaan kabel NYA

Tentang penggunaan NYA berlaku ketentuan-ketentuan berikut;
  • untuk pemasangan tetap dalam jangkauan tangan NYA harus dilindungi dengan pipa instalasi;
  • di ruang lembab, NYA harus dipasang dalam pipa PVC;
  • NYA tidak boleh dipasang langsung menempel pada plesteran atau kayu, atau ditanam langsung di dalam plesteran atau kayu, tetapi harus dilindungi dengan pipa instalasi;
  • kalau dipasang di luar jangkauan tangan, NYA boleh dipasang terbuka dengan menggunakan isolator rol; cara pemasangannya harus sedemikian hingga ada jarak bebas minimun 1 cm terhadap dinding dan terhadap bagian lain dari bangunan atau konstruksi;
  • NYA boleh digunakan di dalam alat listrik, perlengkapan hubungan-bagi dan sebagainya;
  • NYA tidak boleh digunakan di ruang basah, di alam terbuka atau di tempat kerja atau gudang dengan umlah kabel rumah boleh di pasang dalam satu pipa instalasi, tidak boleh melebihi jumlah yang tercantum dalam tabel 3.2

Kabel NYM
Tentang penggunaan NYM / NYY berlaku ketentuan-ketentuan berikut ini:
- NYM / NYY boleh dipasang langsung menempel pada plesteran atau kayu atau ditanam langsung dalam plesteran, juga di ruang lembab atau basah, ditempat kerja atau gedung dengan bahaya kebakaran atau ledakan; 
- NYM/NYY juga boleh dipasang langsung pada bagian-bagian lain dari bangunan, konstruksi, rangka dan sebagainya, asalkan cara pemasangannya tidak merusak selubung luar kabelnya;
- NYM tidak boleh dipasang di dalam tanah.
- NYY dipergunakan untuk instalasi tertanam (kabel tanah)


Untuk pemasangannya digunakan klem dengan jarak antara yang cukup rapat, sehingga kabelnya terpasang ra[ih, lurus, dan tidak melendut.

Kalau dipasang di ruang lembab haruys digunakan kotak sambung yang kedap air dan kedap lembab.
